Conor Reid

Conor Reid is a Chicago-based professional amateur comedian and writer. Quick-witted and foul-mouthed, they are certain to bring a smile (or at least an amused groan) to any room they’re in. They have spent most of their adult life taking the Chicago Comedy Scene by storm. Whether they’re opening for the Chicago Comedy Hour at The Second City or improvising a legal dispute at The Annoyance Theater, Reid is sure to be on a stage making people laugh.

When they aren’t busting guts, Reid is lending their comedic talents to the indie film scene. The script for their debut short, Rejected, was a runner-up at The 2023 Sidewalk Film Festival, their second short script, Worm, was selected for The 2024 Los Angeles Short Film Festival, and their pilot, Helsing, was a quarter-finalist in the 2024 ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship Competition. Recently, Reid created and directed a comedic mini-series called “The Fool,” which some are calling “a show.” When they’re not working, Reid is thinking about working. When they’re not doing that, they’re playing Dungeons and Dragons with their friends or rewatching Community for the millionth time.
